Admission Information :.
Very
few seats exist in any class, and applications will be processed
as and when vacancies arise. For these regular vacancies
children are required to sit for an entrance test usually
held in October/ November/March and for which a special
fee is charged.
Admission
Tests are held as per the under mentioned schedule:
Classes
- Kindergarten: No formal written tests in specific
subjects will be held for children applying for these classes,
but children will be interviewed in the Kindergarten and
general questions asked to ascertain the aptitude and ability
of the child. Elementary written work may form part of the
testing procedure.
Classes
- I & V: Will have formal written tests and
a suitable interview. Children will be tested in English,
Mathematics & Second Language.
Classes
- VI - VIII: Very few vacancies exist in these
classes.
Children
are tested in English, Mathematics, Science (Physics, Chemistry
and Biology) and Second Language. Interviews of ALL short
listed candidates is compulsory WHEN DECIDING SUITABILITY
FOR ADMISSION.
Admission
to Class XI:
Applications
to this class can be sent to 'The Managing Member, Dr. Graham's
Homes' with a copy of the last terminal examination marks.
Admissions are considered on the required percentage of
each stream, i.e. 70% for Science stream, and 55% for Commerce
& Art. As and when results are declared, the applicant
must immediately come to the Homes with a copy of the marks
obtained and admission will be assessed on the percentage
obtained in the external examination and the vacancy position.
Admission
into Dr. Graham's Homes implies a willingness on the part
of both the student and the parents to adhere to all the
rules and regulations in force from time to time and always.

NOTE: OUT-STATION CHILDREN WILL NOT
BE ACCEPTED AS DAY PUPILS

Discipline :.
A
high standard of discipline is expected from students at
all times in manner of conduct, speech & dress.
Boys will be expected to have proper haircuts, regardless
of prevalent fashion. Senior boys who shave, must do so
every day. Girls with long hair will be expected to plait
it, and rings, jewelry, bracelets and the like will not
be tolerated. If earrings are worn, just a simple small
ring or stud will be permitted.
Students found to be with uniforms that are not prescribed
by the School will be penalized and new uniforms that conform
to the regulation will be provided at cost and charged to
the pupil concerned.
All Extra Money and all jewelry will be confiscated and
not returned.
School Uniforms:
Students will be charged at the under mentioned rates for
School Uniforms. The rates chargeable are subject to change
without prior notice.

above is the minimum and additional clothing such as suits
for older boys and dresses for girls may be provided at
the discretion of parents. All items provided by parents
should be listed. One list should be pasted on the inside
cover of the pupil's box and the other given to the Cottage
Superintendent. Clothes should be comfortable to wear, practical
in use & befitting modesty. (ALL ITEMS OF CLOTHING,
ETC., MUST BE CLEARLY MARKED WITH THE STUDENT'S NAME). CARDIGANS,
PULLOVERS, SHOES, SOCKS, TIES, SLIPPERS AND TOILETERIES
ARE AVAILABLE AT THE CLOTHING DEPARTMENT AT SCHOOL APPROVED
RATES.
